    Hi,

I bought a boxed super 32x in japan, and until now I didn't paid attention to the cables which were coming with it since I have already everything needed to hook it up on my setup.
While I was about to store the box of the 32x, I took a look on the cables, and I have this:

So no it doesn't go to the 32x nor the MD (either model 1 or model 2).
It's clearly not the original but before cutting this plug to put a mini-DIN9 I want to see if anyone know what sort of connector it is.
I couldn't find anything matching on the internet.

    Thanks!

i could be wrong, but that looks like a camcorder to vcr cable? (vice-versa)
the saturn, gen v2 and multi-mega have that connection. (left of image) a lot of 90's camcorders used it too.
it's possible you was given a studio cable?
for what it's worth, KEEP it intact and get the specific cable required. up to you?
    sorry if this doesn't help.
