http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3089833722&category=62054 Some pc-fx stuff I've not seen before. Oh yeah, and let me ask you guys a question. I see everyone talking about dev kits all the time, but never about coding or developing. I used to code and i was just wondering what good these dev kits are to everyone.
please repost this thread in the central ebay topic that can be found in the buy/sell subforum. http://www.assemblergames.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=352 After reposting this topic will be deleted.
From what I gather most hardware devkits people here have are useless for coding... they're not complete or require software thats impossible to find. If you can get a complete set of hardware and accompanying software you're set though IMHO it's more useful to have the official dev software/docs for a console than the hardware kit (although it doesnt look as pimp :smt033 )
That's the PC98 version... you don't want it unless you've got a PC98 (which most people even in japan don't). There is one that'll work with PC, and you can do some development with it. Some Japanese guys were able to post cue sheets that you could use on a normal PC to suck the FMV straight out of a PC-FX game.
PCFX GA ... Arghh !!! Still not the version I want :Hangman: I need the DOS/V version of the board !!! I heard that this one even has a 3D chip on it. Any lead for me??? Anyone??? Sabre
In case it wasn't made obvious in the previous posts, the ebay auction in question (pc-fx ga) is a development kit for the PC-FX. It's an expansion card for the PC-98 computer, bundled with some stuff for developing.
