I found this just a moment ago cruising FleaBay:

Any idea as to what controller plugs into it? It has to be a controller adapter since it has button colors and coding key on the casing. For use on the Genesis/ Megadrive.

It uses an odd looking joystick.

Next question. What thew hell is it supposed to be used for?! It is obviously more than just a weird controller. Debugging perhaps?

It's just a 3rd party one-handed controller. Nothing more, nothing less as far as I know.

Meh. I have a joystick I got recently as well as a homemade one too. Only problem with them is they are just 3 button and not 6 button. This got me thinking about the Gennystick going 6 button control. Hmmmm...

IS this auction only for a wireless receiver or something? Anyway does not look like something you'd want XD

Very often the arcade style sticks the were sold for the older consoles sucked.
I myself use a modified X-arcade. I removed all the X-arcade circuitry and instead only have the contacts and a big DB25 connector on the stick box.
Then i made project boxes with hacked pads for most of my consoles (including genesis). One stick, all consoles. Works great.

I also replaced the stock stick with a Suzo 500 and ill change the button soons.

Ha ha, I don't know how I ended up here, but that is my video. To anyone thinking of getting one of these, DON'T! It is a poop log.

With that being the case, good review man. I didn't plan to hunt one down anyways after your video review. Looks like total shit or worse...

Yeah I wouldn't even use this as a dildo on my worst enemy. Crazy how many accessories they use to release back in the day that just didn't work well. Makes you wonder what their "quality" control or testing standards were like.
