There are several soundtracks I occasionally listen to. This one however goes into my playlist at least once a week since it has been released last year: 4 CDs.
Wasn't there a thread like this just a month or two ago? Anyway, I still love the Vectorman soundtrack.
Ace Driver - Victory Lap (Namco Arcade Game) Quite pleased I managed to find the arcade PCB which I shoved into a Rave Racer arcade Still had the soundtrack since release http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQhn_cJLq2c
Burnout series, great selection of Rock songs. Also Phoenix Wright series, the orchestra album is gorgeous!
Hell yes! I recommend everyone to listen to the orchestrated version. So pristine! I also will always love the Ridge Racer Type 4 Direct Audio album! ;-)
I have always liked Sonic CD's soundtrack, and Final Fantasy VII/X. And one that you'll likely never here anybody else say... but King's Quest VII.
Shenmue series, Streets of Rage 1&2, Torico (Lunacy), Culdcept, Story of Thor 2, Panzer Dragoon series, SEGA Touring Car Championship, Discworld II, Sonic series (especially Sonic 3), Unreal Tournament, err..
Wipeout 2097 also has a great soundtrack, my brother borrows it every now and then just because of the soundtrack ^_^
So difficult to choose... One that springs to mind is YS book 1&2 for the PC Engine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcaHjkHmvAg and of course Super Metroid for the SNES http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WitCj8KVX1Q&feature=related
Oh yeah, Vectorman Soundtrack is one of the all time greats. These would be my favorites: Any NES Mega Man. Any 16-bit Era Sonic (32X included). Most Castlevanias. Vectorman. Toe Jam & Earl: Panic on Funkatron Earthworm Jim 1 & 2. Thunderforce 3 & 4 and more recently: Advent Rising Catherine Dark Void Eternal Arcadia (Skies of Arcadia) Persona 3 + FES Shadow of the Colossus Sonic Unleashed (it's actually very good!) Trusty Bell (Eternal Sonata) Valkyria Chronicles
The bully soundtrack has some fantastic tracks. I really want to see a sequel. WET also had a good one. Very good game but some people find it too repetitive.
