To me a collection is legendary when it gets someone else into collecting, or at least gaming. My fiance now asks for new systems rather than jewelry The only problem is shes taken up a passion for arcade games, I see an expense relationship in my future .
It can go multiple ways.. i think... I've seen some MASSIVE Collections (on this site actually) that are quite legendary.. Also seen some small but focused (like on a particular theme or game series) be equally impressive...
Where did you get her? you didnt build her right?;-) And with arcades going down in price while gold and diamonds go up I'll say that future aniversary gifts couldnt get cheaper for you my friend:nod:
you got a point there  im motivated in collecting stuff that is important for me, that has some personal meaning, to collect games that i enjoyed a lot, and also for the nostalgia. Maybe a collector could not be interested about what people thinks of their collections, but also i like to play that nice old games that are already legendary for me.
I think 'legendary' is a great word that i would stick only on complete collections. For example adol's complete collections are legendary!:icon_bigg
agreed. look no further than Adol's 22 or 24 (can't remember) complete in box collections. legendary. i haven't seen anyone else with a collection like that.
Legendary is down to rarity or size. I favour a collection with AAA titles or great games that are hard to find. Volume is not impressive. Hand picked collections are much more note-worthy.
I really enjoyed Shaq-Fu when it was released. It was under rated IMO. It's not an amazing game or a classic, but the combat was not bad. It's laughable now, but back in the day it was not the shitfest that the gaming press made it out to be.
