funny thing is, i bought the ngage fully expecting not to like it. but for 100 dollars, you get one hell of a phone and a damn decent gaming system. i most enjoyed glimmerati and chaos theory. ashen and operation shadow are also solid. lately ive been playing asphalt 2 alot. the motorcycles are poorly implemented, and you have to get used to the pitiful draw distance. i continue to be amazed at the control that is achieved using a dpad.
Here's the proto games i mentioned. I have more somewhere, assuming they didn't fall into the couch at some point... And here's whats on the back of one of them: As you can see they used almost any mmc card they could find to put these things on, one is on a damn generic 128 meg card while another is on one of the generic white mmc's that come with the N-Gage, another is completely blank. Kinda makes protohunting dificult, eh?
What killed the Ngage was that lame screen and the sidetalking. Honestly, I dont know how on earth these nokia ID guys tought people would play this thing. And now, after they anounce there wont be a succesor to the ngage they release this cool clamshell phone that with a "trnasformer" desing can change to a GBASP layout for PMP use. Plus it has a nice big screen.OH: Honestly the only logical answer to why these guys didnt use THAT desing in the ngage is: they were either stoned or batshit fucking locos:shrug: Good games? dunno, current state of emulators? dont you guys flamed me on that other topic for supporting emulation?
Interesting enough my tony hawk looks different from the proto's you posted. God I need to find where I put that thing (i think its in a box in my closet).
I have a few of those "Not for sale" MMC's, and yeah, quite a few are on generic blank cards, I accidentally deleted a few files off one when I was nosing around one on my PC.
