What should I pay for a Turbo Duo? For an FM Towns Marty?

As it says.

What is the correct price one should pay for a Duo, should one come across a unit?
What Duo set is the best to buy? Where, How, Who to recommendedly buy it from?

Also, I saw an FM Towns machine for 3500 pesos on MercadoLibre. That's like some 320 dollars, maybe less. Every piece of software was at least 50 dollars extra.

Is it really worth that much money?

 

If you want a boxed Duo then send me 200 US Dollars and I'll get you one. I have two places with them at the moment.

Divers are the only things NOT skyrocketing in value in Japan. I saw four of these on yahoo in the last month, none went over $250 that I recall.

 

What would be a good PCE to buy to start with? Not sure if i want/need to be able to play Cd-roms, but i'm thinking it will be worth getting a console that can be expanded to play them at some point. only definate necessity is Composite output (or RGB, if possible). What would be the best system to buy, and for how much?

Not looking to buy just yet, got a rather large laptop purchase coming up, but just for future reference

 

Probably one of the Core Grafx systems. Have composite (modable to RGB) out, and can upgrade to CDRom later.

 

I have a super minty Core GraFX II I may be willing to part with.

Same if not better condition than that one (everything is baggied), but it's a Core GraFX II with no games. Obviously not going to ask anything near £200, but make me a sensible offer!

Well im not flogging mine for £31, paid more than that, plus I can get £60 for a loose one in Gamestation. Mine is pretty much boxed as new.

Might go for one of those from NFG's site. Whats the difference between the coregrafx 1 and 2? is it just the design?

The Core Grafx II was released to match the Super CD Rom2 unit.

 

Figure out the shipping cost first...I got mine on ebay...boxed for 46 bucks with five loose games. Shipping is going to cost you a ton....

 

Whereas mine will be uber cheap postage! ;-)
