BOTH GAMES ARE EQUALLY AWESOME for different reasons... according to what I've heard so far. ... Damnit, this is hard.
man metrod prime 3 is another crappy wii game, you cant compare it with bioshock, read the reviews fo the game ANYWHERE or try the demo and you will understand the high scores.
Opinions are opinions, but Bioshock bored the hell out of me, a lot of reviews are overrated, and even if MP3 is like the others I'd still love it. But thats me!
I've only tried the Bioshock XBL demo, but I have found the game really interesting, so I'd choose Bioshock over Metroid Prime 3 (I loved both MP and MP2 but I think Bioshock is a better choice this time).
Bioshock To be fair, though, I haven't played the demo (don't have a 360; PC demo is supposed to come out tomorrow). But come on... the "spiritual successor" to System Shock 2? Sign me up. This is the first game I've preordered (or bought from Gamestop, for that matter) since Oblivion came out last year. I am all kinds of excited for this game
Fanboy Alert. I've heard this said about WoW, and it applies to all "popular" games as well. By popular, I mean terribly overrated by EVERYONE. "Play WoW, 9 million players can't be wrong!" Turn that into.... "Eat shit, 20 million flies can't be wrong!"
rofl. Yeah I dunno, Bioshock is good but I can't imagine passing up Metroid Prime for it, I have played too many things like Bioshock lately (condemned, the darkness) (and yes metroid prime 3 is first person, but I don't really think any of those games play like it, especially with a Wiimote)
good news my gamestop was having some crazy one day only deal. I went to trade in a few games and get bioshock (Which is amazing). I was only expecting to get 20 dollars but got enough to pay off bioshock metroid and halo 3.
I would say Bioshock. I'm also not the world's biggest Metroid fan, but I'm not convinced I'd be as into Bioshock as a lot of other people either.
Got Bioshock it's my new favorite game and i'm getting metroid tommorow. So if a mod wants they can take this thread down.
Bioshock, it's a great game that takes a lot from System Shock 2 (still doesn't better it though ) and if you can get past it being a bit easy (and maybe a somewhat short ending sequence) you'll find a great little jem .
