Just gently push it to the side of the plate and say you're full...

    always works for me.

Broccoli ? Eat them in a salad made out of lettuce and other lovely cabbages . And then as a dressing you should make some Bearnaise sauce/gravy (depending how much you like the density of the sauce). And if you are not a vegan or vegetarian. Then eat it with some lovely pork-chops or a minced meat steak, or just a plain old steak. That should get "rid" of them. Also they taste great :) At least they are not Brussels sprouts (damn I dislike those).

Slam it in your mouth, eat it as fast as possible and move on to the more tastier items on your plate. For me, I kind of don't mind eating vegetables I'm not fond of, after eating junk food for most of my life I've grown to appreciate nutrient filled food even if it's not so satisfying to eat. I see it as a sort necessary part of a healthy diet and a clean and natural part of living, so that gives me pleasure even if the flavor isn't up to scratch. I usually tackle the broccoli and cauliflower first and then enjoy the meats, potatoes and whatever vegetables are left soaked in gravy with Yorkshire puddings on the side.

Be a man and eat it, it's not that horrible.

This isn't like fried cockroaches or anything.

One thing that's spectacular to put on steamed broccoli is lemon pepper.

Also, peanut butter is great for dipping for raw broccoli. Yes, that may understandably sound disgusting, but it's actually really great.

I do eat broccoli and enjoy it, but it is quite boring. It was a bit of a joke topic really, but I seem to have more replies than when I try to make a genuine topic.

I guess it's something we can all relate to, after all we are all generally brought up to eat our vegetables and most of us end up hating them one way or another.

Steam it and melt cheddar cheese over it. It's the only way to eat broccoli.

Make a nice cheesy chicken, broccolli and rice casserole. Thats always good. Or if eating raw a dipping sauce ive made before by mixing ranch and sriracha sauce together.. that will make brocolli less boring. Possibly make some beer batter broccoli bites? There are so many different things to make.

I'm not a lover of brussels sprouts, I don't like that bitterness (although I love chewing on lemon slices in my drink lol). I went to a friend's, and he served up sprouts and suggested I put some mint jelly on them. It was lovely! Took the taste away and made them edible. Maybe that would work if you don't like the raw taste?

Blanched broccoli & cooked noodles (penne) & creme fraiche & lightly roasted pine nuts (or sunflower seeds) + some red pepper, all thrown in a pan and gently roasted. Hmmm.
