I recently bought another Game Gear for the sake of hacking it but right now my resources are limited. What can I do with my Game Gear
in terms of hacking? Can I play MP3's with it? Videos? I know of everdrive and such emulators on GG but what else can I do?

You can play video sources through the TV Tuner, but that's about it. As for MP3s, the format wasn't invented back then, so you'd have to write your own software (and possibly make your own hardware) to facilitate that, including the transfer of the MP3s onto a cart. The screen isn't great, nor is the audio circuitry, so I don't know why you'd bother.

The best thing to do with a Game Gear, and I think you're going to be surprised about this, is.....

    PLAY GAMES ON IT!

I'd mod it in to a console that plugged in to a TV. Yeah, now that would be cool and has been done before but I can't see that being an easy mod. Especially if you want RGB out of it.

Not a bad idea yakumo, maybe try to get an output from the ext port? Or is it some sophisticated pinout on the board? If I can get ahold of a picture of the pinouts. Without using a RGB Scart. Maybe VGA or RCA?

    --EDIT--
A/V Out 3.5mm would be amazing.
