Can you post the models/configurations of the G5s you have? Depending on what you have I can suggest things to do with them or if you are willing to part with one, I might be interested.

Not sure if this was directed at people in general, but I'll tell you mine, since I'd like to hear suggestions too. Mine is a late-2005 dual core Power Mac G5. The model is Power Mac 11,2. It has a 2GHz dual core 970MP CPU. Everything is stock, except for the memory, which has been increased to 1.5GB. It has a Geforce 6600 LE.

Did any of your systems come with the MAC OSX 10.2.7 discs? Was only available for a couple weeks and shipped with early G5s and I guess never released to the public.

I'm willing to part with a lot, I need to get rid of a whole bunch of them. I have all of them except the QC2.5s and the DP2.7s

unfortunately, no. Any specific reason why you're looking for it? I can try to ask around for it

Other news: I found an article of a guy getting 64GBs of ram to work in his G5 using Reggie SE (and overclocking if you want your house fire to become a hotter house fire)

Was the first version and is the rarest version of OS X for G5's seeing it was out for a week or so and replaced with 10.2.8. I have a copy with my boxed G5 but could use another 2 copies for other G5's I have.

Why do you need a copy for each system? You know you can use the same copy on as many systems as you want, right? Are you planning on selling them or something?

My iMac G3 has Jaguar on it; I think it has whatever the final update was. I updated it through the Software Update when Apple was still supporting Jaguar. My G5 originally shipped with Tiger I think, and that's what was installed on it when I bought it. I installed Leopard on it.

I think the only physical copy of OS X I own is Snow Leopard. My modern Macs have Sierra, which never had a physical version. I'm planning on installing the High Sierra beta on my MBP.

Fair enough. Any older Mac stuff tends to be pretty cool.

Unfortunately I don't. I'll keep my eyes open for 10.2.7, but I don't typically come across accessories
