For some reason it won't appear on my HDTV. Haven't tried the SDTV yet. (rather not lug a PS2 into another room) Would using a composite/svideo cable help? I already know this set utterly does not accept 240p over component like PS1 games use, turns a "signal not found" type error.
i have a matrix infinity clone and i remember it using the same display mode (576i for me) with the ps2 boot screen. you see the main menu of ps2 and boot a game fine, right? the problem is only with the MI config menu? if your ps2 is set to RGB, you wouldn't see anything on screen via component. no boot menu no MI config menu. whatever the problem is, it would most possibly solved via composite cables.
