I was wondering here what was, the latest release I know was Terraria Collector Edition, and Neverwinter Nights 2 as a non collector one.
Yeah, saw a bunch at the Dollar store, lots of kids games. I don't think we'll see the last CD-Rom game soon.
Some of those shovelware are probably over 10 years old. I looked at one recently, it mentioned support for Windows 3.11, 95, and later and required 100MHz CPU or faster. I bet my computer meets all those and it won't work. I wonder if I bring my laptop (Windows 10, 2.6GHz dual core i3, 12GB RAM, 1TB drive) and point it exceeds all requirement and pay those Geek idiot squad to figure out why the game doesn't work anyway. They might have to offer refund when they can't figure it doesn't work because ancient 16 bit games just won't run on 64 bits platform. Also saw Everquest Omens of Wars CD, new in box at Walmart for clearance sale of $39.00 This shit is over 10 years old and is already included in later expansion updates, no need to buy this ragged old box.[/S]
