I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, or if this has been asked before, but I must know what happened to the shops in Osaka? I remember reading Gamest years ago, and along with G-Front and MAK in Tokyo, Osaka had a store called Technart that sold JAMMA boards, cabinets, and parts. I went looking for it a few years ago, and couldn't find it, so I assume it's gone. With that said, I remember there being a couple of others, but I have no idea if they still exist.
Hmm most of the ones in Osaka have basically ceased to be, a few years ago there were at least 3 but now only one exists... Kanaya - http://www.game-kanaya.com/map/map.html It's a shame as the Tokyo area (including Kanagawa where Yokohama is) has at least 5 PCB shops.
Jamtex, thanks for the reply. I must have been to this area 100 times, and I had no idea that this company existed. I'll check them out the next time I am in Osaka, probably February-ish. Thanks again.
The now independent arm of Bally (yes of Bally Midway fame) in Japan is in Osaka too. They also only do corporate sales. I found 4 or 5 distributors in Oskaka but all were corporate only, one had a nice English message saying 'We only sell to Company'.
I own a company. Wonder if they would deal w/ my entity over me. I'm not really in the market for anything now though.
