What's a NR Reader worth these days?

What's a NR Reader worth these days? I'm really interested in getting one in the near future.

 

Are you looking for a boxed one, or just the console itself?

I sold one with the box, console, retail controller, power supply, and composite cables for $450 USD + postage on eBay.

 

Bought mine for approx. $250 without cables/box, just the bare system. This was a couple of weeks ago or so.

 

Pal or NTSC? NTSC seems harder to find right now.

 

yeah im happy that one guy on here that was selling a pal one didn't know it wasn't pal and it had the us and japan switch
but yeah as protonx said NTSC are like impossible to find atm idk why

 

Mine was NTSC.

 

Get a standard gamecube with region mod (switch for instance), get the gamecube screw driver set, buy any region NR Reader and switch the drives. Region-free NR Reader

 

The NTSC units already come with the switch installed. Its also not "region free", as iinstalling the switch doesnt allow PAL games.

 

Anyone tried a Xeno in an NR 'cube?

 

If region-free is what you're looking for, the best region-free NR-reader is.... a RVT Wii with those units you can switch the region from the settings menu.

Just in case you were still wondering about pricing^. It probably won't sell for that, but if I remember correctly I had mine listed for the same price and accepted an offer.
