What games are coming out that will be must haves for this system before it apparently ends? I havent been motivated to play anything new since Halo 2 came out, and I look to see whats coming out and I see stuff that's available for other consoles or even PC like Doom III or Spinter Cell 3. They've already pushed many titles unofficially the the next xbox launch. Stuff like Halo 3, Perfect Dark 0, Fable 2, even Half Life 2 are slated for the next one. MS obviously wouldnt want these titles to release near the end when they can save them for the launch of their new system.
Personally, I'd rather buy any multi-platform game (Burnout 3 for example) on Xbox. It isn't dead yet and won't be for quite a while to come.. this sort of thing has happened on most successful consoles and STILL good games came out for them.
its true, im shocked how long nintendo kept support for nes/famicom when snes/superfami came out as well as 64 when cube was released. Though of course the record for longest support would have to go to psx.
Is that the thingie one uses whilst playing REZ? Also... for Xbox, Jet Set Radio Future is supreme. It's a launch title, yes, but I can't think of any other newer title. MGS2 Substance if you don't have it for PS2 yet, but I've heard it looks better on PS2. I have it on PS2 anyway. MechAssault is also very cool, don't know about the new one. And if all else fails, do what my Ex did. She has an Xbox only to play emulated SNes and NES and other games. She's old school as hell but not precisely lucky at collecting. It's not legal, I know, but it's a good use for a 'box
I'm thinking of picking up those JP dating sim titles... plus bunch of LE 1st print ones on my next trip...
