    Hi guys,
I want to make some protective sleeves for some of my boxed games and consoles.
However I can't for the life of me work out where to get the plastic to make them, it's a clear thin plastic that's used for all sorts of stuff, like this

Sorry for the double ish post (I'm using my phone and it will crash if I try to edit my post)

yeah so as I said, I can't get any pre made covers because I'm using this for some console boxes and also a board game, I should have the tools to bend the plastic (for my shrink wrapping) just don't know what I'm looking for, eBay or aliexpress links would be appreciated.

    thanks everyone!

yep, polythene, polyurethane or poly vinyl chloride.
    ...
shops dealing in stationary supplies, even art shops.
garden centers may sell rolls of a similar stuff at lengths?
if you can get that, order a 100-pack if clamp-buttons and you're set! :wink-new: (cut plastic to shape, fold and press with heat, add buttons for the flap)
not sure where you could get the cases as is.
another plastic could work, the kind you get on some large items, comes as a giant blister (sealed environment) and i've created 'dust protection' out of a few packages to protect the card print.
the psp go dock had it all, a waste of packaging that turned out to get fully used again.
    [edit]
    typo.

Acetate. It is not acid free, so not a great choice for keeping a collection.
