I dropped a cool grand on a STARS DC, which I've still not taken pictures for for Bert Hardy, b/c I'm so damn busy. :(

I'm cheap, so the most I've spent is £70 on a Limited Edition Castlevania Lamment of Innocence.

Though, I am spending £1000 to buy my new PC next week :-D

Well, the most I've spent in one day is problably $300 (when I got my GC and like seven games. Just went bannanas.) Sadly I really can't afford to get all the new shit when it first comes out, so I've become kind of an expert in finding the cool stuff used or tracking down the crazy ebay auction where the guy doesn't know the value of what he's selling.

Well I have spent over $300 many, many times. My red Biohazard DC was the most for one item, but I did buy two Steel Battalions at once. :smt082

hehe, most I ever spent on a single piece of hardware was 65e on my boxed, hardly used, Saturn in december 2003. Sadly its kinda fscked now due to a failed attempt at installing a 60hz switch :smt009
Other than that, I also sent about 150e to Yakumo for a white Saturn with arcade stick, memory card and 34 games - needless to say shipping was very expensive - but it hasn't arrived yet. Most I have ever spent on a single game is 6200 yen on a mint Street Fighter Zero 3 boxset for Saturn.
Guess I'm kind of the odd man out :smt033

I remember spending £250 pounds for a Super Magicom. My first of may back up units. As for games I paid £68 for Axelay on Japanese import when that first came out. And £65 for Turtles in Time.

hmm when i was in junior high in mid 80's I got me dad to buy me & my bro a full size outrun arcade machine, that time if im not mistaken costs about $5000 includes import costs from japan, thats the biggest amount I ever experienced in gaming I think.
