Clear editions are usually limited editions. Probably a 1/100 item, there maybe a sticker somewhere on the packaging signifying that. 1/100 Jakks Classic Wrestlers line usually averages $4-700 depending on who it is.

Well, I should say were. Less popular such as Sunny and Rey Mysterio can be easily had for $100 a piece. Eddie Guerrero 1/100 used to be $500 a pop but now can be had for sub $250.

the value has tanked since Mattel took over WWE figures

LOL, true. I don't know anyone with kids right now and I've been hearing a lot of parents going around asking "Any Skylanders XXXXX in stock?" so, must be pretty fucking popular. Which is good it's a bit of 90s again :>

 

Is it known at launch of a certain Skylander figurine that it's rare? If so I highly doubt a regular person will be able to be 'just lucky' when buying a new figurine, probally the shop owner or its personal snatch up the rare stuff and sell it on eBay and such.
