Are you getting sick of polls yet? Puzzle games. We're talking Tetris, Bust-A-Move, that sorta thing. As you can only have 10 options, I decided on the "classic" era. As great as they were, I excluded the early Ataris, Colecovision etc. and there are some others missing too. Sorry for that! I thought this was probably the best way to balance them, though. Please vote for the console you think had the most decent puzzle games, not just because of one game! If you genuinely feel another console deserves to be voted for, feel free to say. And in the case of multiple systems listed, feel free to state which you're voting for!
I can't decide! The MD had Puyo Puyo, but the SNES had it too with worse graphics but better sound. The Neo-Geo had the best Puzzle Bobble. The GB had Tetris OF COURSE, and probably several Puyo Puyo ports as well. The NES and SNES had loads of other shit, but a lot of it was just that - shit. Then there was Chu Chu Rocket!... *Head Explodes* Do pinball games count? Because Pokemon Pinball pwns all...
Yeah, tough choice. Bust-a-move on several platforms, Tetris on several platforms. Still, one that kinda does it for me is the Bishi Bashi series on Playstation - true stroke of genius! One of the best multiplayer games around... such a laugh! That's a good point. I never made a pinball category. Well, this category would often be called "arcade" games (although half of them weren't in the arcades!), so yeah, I guess you can put pinball under this category
hmmm i would say GBA (because of the GB compatibility) so i will vote for NES/Game Boy and puzzle games fits good on a handheld in my honest opinion
Hehe yeah sorry, I counted the GBA as a modern console, so it wasn't included. Basically counting the consoles that are still readily sold new, i.e. GBA (SP), PS2, Game Cube, XBox, DS, PSP. This is a retro poll, and they aren't retro yet! I might do a poll for them later tonight though, happy?
I new I was forgetting something! That game's great for wrecking people's heads. OK, I think I've made decision.
