I remember when playing Scott Pilgrim vs the World that the credits went on a really long time. 15 minutes. Probably the longest credits I've ever seen. So how about it. What games have you found to have really long credits?
I remember playing through Fable 1 / TLC multiple times and the credits always seemed so long before you could get back to playing and use that OP Sword of Aeons to destroy everything. I think its about 10-15m if I remember
You can't skip the credits the first time on Super Monkey Ball, it's probably only 5 minutes but it feels like forever. I can't remember what game, but there is a game where you actually get an achievement just for sitting through the creds'
Can't you speed the credit up ? Unless it was in the second game, don't remember exactly. WHAT?! 4 hours for a such game ?! Crazy !
Rayman Origins. Very long credits. You can destroy the credits using Rayman but it gets boring when you realize they last for about 18 minutes.
This kinda reminds me of Total Recall NES where you get more health by sitting through the credits. It's almost essential to complete the game. Sadly I think I enjoyed that game more than most people.......I die every time I get to the driving portion unless I use cheats.
Basically any MGS game lol, I remember MGS4's taking about half an hour (although it might seem like more because of how long the last few cutscenes were)
I remember the end credits of an Assassin's Creed game going on for at least 30 minutes and being impressed by how many people were involved in the process. However Mighty No. 9 has one 8x as long as a AAA game, I don't want to know
The worst thing is when you've been holding off having a pee when you've been engrossed in a final boss battle because you don't want to pause and get out of 'the zone' , then having beaten the boss it dawns on you just how desperate for the loo you are, but there's no way to pause the game's ending, so you just have to sit there squirming on the sofa until the credits start...
In addition to the examples previously mentioned, I found the credits of Watch Dogs insufferably long, though I'll let Shenmue and Shenmue II off because... they're Shenmue and Shenmue II! P.S. The credits of Mighty No. 9 are indeed mostly just to name all its Kickstarter backers, and I'm already dreading how bad such a list might be if Shenmue III follows the same approach.
This is where I found the Vita/PS4 remote play/secind screen useful! I can go to the toilet with the Vita and keep wathching/playing.
I finished Turok for the first time a few weeks ago, and I distinctly remember the credits being extremely long
