    Hello to all.

Thank you all for this wonderful resource. Especially Krikzz for his sweet creation . I have always dreamed of such an invention.

I have a question, were can I buy an Everdrive MD? I have checked a couple of retailer sites that has it but it seems to me out of stock or the selling section is inactive or something like that. I am located in the US.

Can anyone point me at were I can buy one or perhaps 2? Also, what is the current or latest version of Everdrives in the market these days ?

Thank you so much again !

    :)

Thank you jacksprat1990. Yes, it seems like they do carry it there... When did you get yours? The reason I'm asking is because I think there is a new version of the Everdrive that supports 4GB + SD cards. If there was such a thing it would be the version I'm most interested in. So, what kind of SD support to you have?

    Thank you !

4GB+ support can be added via OS update anyway. I bought mine from Tototek and applied the said update, no problems.

Sweet ! That means I can order mine right away. :) Thank you folks. But, really quick, if I buy mine now, dose that mean it would be updated aleady? or do I need to update it myself. I have no problem performing the updates as long as they do not require special hardware. i.e. no special connectors, interfaces etc.

So, did yall update your own carts?

    Thanks !

OS updates are done via the SD card, so nothing additional is needed (as long as you have the SD card and an SD card reader for your computer). Firmware updates do require the use of a jtag cable. I bought my Everdrive about a year ago (I think) and have never updated my firmware. My Everdrive is working fine with OS 29 (the latest OS).

Yagers, Thank you so much for the info. Perfect, I'm on the right track then. I have already purchased a new-in-box College Football's National Campionship II Genesis game to be my cart's shell donor :). I wanted a brand new shell to modify it for the ED bacause of my OCD :-0:DOH:... If it's not retail looking and quality then it's never good enough :). So, I'm planning on fabricating a storage box and litrature along with a unique pro looking label for the cart. I will make sure I share the results with you all and make them availabe for anyone who wants them.

BTW, the donors brand new game board along with its cardboard box and insert is going to be availabe for anyone who wants it for their collections or whatever. I'll be happy to give it free for anyone who wants it if they pay for it's shipping only !

    Thank you very much

    HANGAR,

Thank you for your interst. To be honest, I have yet to place my order... I meant to do that the other day but after a second look at my bank account I knew I had to wait for a few more days ! I am still determined to make the purchase in a couple of days hopefully. From what I have gathered the seller is located in HK and im here in the US. but everything thing in that site checks out especially when they offer free shipping and a way to enter a US. valid address. Many people here have purchased from them which makes me comfortable doing it. Lets hope that someone here can shed some light on the shipping time and the whole process.

Good luck mate... hope you'll enjoy your upcomming purchase. I know I would ;)

    Cheers!

Have a look on retrogate.com - it's where Krikzz sells direct. It's probably cheaper, and I THINK it's in stock right now (normally it's not)

I bought mine from Tototek and they are pretty okay with the delivery and stuff. They also offer free delivery so it's a plus. I'm planning to get the Everdrive GG to use with my renewed Game Gear from Retrogate. It's nice they offer to put the USB port on for you, but I'd pay some extra bucks if they also offer a shell like Tototek.
