Currently I have to odd issues with two different SNES's, the problems seem directly related to the 3in1 adapter I was given in a lot so I'm wondering where I can get two of the official adapters (for non outrageous prices most on ebay I've seen are $40+ ). Or a 3rd party adapter which is close in comparison to the official one (No issues seen with it so far) Thanks for any advice/heads up on where I can pick these up at.
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...+adapter&rh=n:468642,k:super+nintendo+adapter I searched it up and it shows two different kinds of 3 in 1 adapters, an official Super Nintendo power adapter, and ect.. all for reasonable to cheap prices. I prefer Amazon unless searching for rare or more expensive items
Like you said they're the 3in1 which I've been told are total crap, and I've experienced it first hand on two different consoles. So, That leads me to looking for the official adapters not these 3in1 ones.
Got one of these and it works great. http://console5.com/store/radio-sha...or-super-nintendo-game-gear-genesis-more.html
Just because one thing that was made by a company is total crap doesn't mean something similar by another company is total crap. Different companies mean different quality and if you actually looked, or read what I said right you would have seen that it has official Nintendo adapters in the link. If you think the prices that were listed for those were too high then you are looking for some unrealistic prices. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...dition=used&me=&qid=1366685184&seller=&sr=1-1 In the used section are official Snes adapters Amazon has customer reviews for products, you can always read if the functionality or quality of an item is in question.
Wish I had seen this before buying it from here same goes for the link provided by Heavy, http://www.estarland.com/index.asp?product=21088 Because of my experience with the 2 different 3rd party adapters by different companies I've had already I wanted to avoid them at all costs, From what I read in your post it seemed as if before even checking the link that you were referring to more 3rd party variations of 3in1 adapters. Something like the RadioShack one provided I believe I'd probably have more trust in then the others produced by these other guys looking at reviews on half of them including the one I have it seems like they say it doesn't work for one system or another. Regardless if I would've checked the link as you suggested I would've seen the official ones, however your post/link were both misleading on one hand you mentioned that there were 3in1 adapters on there yet post a link to used official ones I'm sure you catch what I'm saying. Anyway I have to say thanks to the both of you, Also as far as me mentioning 'ridiculous' prices I was referring to e-bay, to pickup an official adapter on there I saw things going for like $40+$15 shipping/handling which had immediately steered me far away from it.
Sorry I didn't mean to sound misleading, And Holy crap "$40+$15" shipping and handling? That's ridiculous no matter where you live, and where you are buying from. I don't know how much you buy from people in far away country's, but I've ordered from Ukrain, and even Japan without getting charged more than $3.75 to $3.99. Obviously I haven't bought anything big that would cost more than that, still that's the kind of price you should have been looking at. Some people on ebay are just stupid. For real we even have a thread about shameful prices on ebay.
