Where do you guys get your Betas / Prototypes?

This thread is getting a bit weird lol. Either way to add to the topic at hand I get mine mostly from the marketplace here. A lot of the time they usually are on the HDD in dev units I buy. I like original Xbox hardware/beta games and 360 beta games (360 dev hardware is shit cause of the RROD, they look awesome though).

For dev hardware ebay can be a good place to get some if you keep an eye out for deals.

I have a DECR-1000A on the way. Hopefully it is possible to recover the HDDs. If so I'll probably look to those as a source of protos. Since I never sell stuff it will quickly accumulate a ton of space though

Yes. DECR-1000A was dead on arrival. Cant find shit on disks. Had a DECR-1400 on the way. Smashed and dead on arrival. Got a bunch of memory sticks that was from Rockstar UK. One elf on them, rest is firmware or savegame crap, and a few videos, nothing fancy although havent tested elf. So a lot of bad luck lately
