I'm writing this out of sheer frustration, but WHERE HAS ALL THE FUN GONE!!? I recall when video games contained luster, appeal, awe and amazement - it wasn't the Titles or the Developers who were the main stream or idea to why a upcoming or in development game was gathering attention. It was because the exploration - of new ideas, the chances taken to create something that was wonderful in its own special way. Every title was not '1 size fits all' and you would have SERIOUS competition - the SNK'ers VS Street Fighters, the Alone in the Dark PC'ers VS Myst or River (PSX'ers) console gamers. It was as though there were no boundaries in challenges set forth - either by a gamer's dedication and NOT the 'power of their PC' or the limitation of multiplayer - where 2 controllers meant Good Times for the Sega Saturn gamers! Does ANYONE recall these times ??
