where is my clock capacitor?

Hello this day I wouild like deep clean my debig kit, install SATA HDD & my kernel debug lug in from xbpx7887.
Also I would like remove my clock capacotor. Could you indicate me by a cercle on my picture where is it please?*THX

Yes, it's possible. Farnell and RS components sell some 1 Farad 2.5V capacitors. It's hard to say if they are leak proof. I would place the capacitor a few mm above the pcb and fill the area between the capacitor and the pcb with some silicone.

Why do you want to refit it?

It holds the time for like an hour or 2. Anymore and you have to reset it (just like you would without the cap). If you leave it plugged in, it won't lose the time anyway.

 

Some people just want to keep their stuff as original as possible.

Finally my buddy remove it and clean my motherboard.

It leaked a little but no damage on motherboard.
