Rhode Island will always have a special place in my heart. Particularly Providence. My good friends Harry and Lloyd are from Rhode Island. ;-)

    I'm from Seattle btw.

Rhode Island is nothing like Family guy and Dumb and Dumber portray it.

It's all Wiggas and Peruto Ricans in Providence. In the Rural Areas like where I live it's all Wiggas and Emo bitches.

all the girls my age (25) are either taken or married and the Asian girls here are all Brown students and Brown Students save for my Friend Dylan who is the nicest guy on Earth have smug sticks shoved up their asses.

We also have the higest teen pregnancy rate in New England though Mass may have surpassed us.

Is it true that there isn't a job in the entire town unless you want to work 40hrs a week? Maybe you should move to someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. Just a suggestion... :icon_bigg

    'beer flows like wine'?
That's a rather oddball analogy where I come from :D

Anyhow, couldn't figure out the map thing, but I live in Leiden in The Netherlands. Actually, my dad's from Michigan and my mother's Belgian, so you might say I'm out of place a bit :p

Anybody that wants to have a decent well paying job with benifits usually gets one in CT or MA. There are still a few things still in RI that aren't 40 hour a week slave jobs.

I would move but I stay here for the kids I have a group of maybe 4 teenagers that mean the world to me and and I'm kind of like a big brother to them.

Up to this point everything I have said has been a direct reference to Dumb and Dumber. One of my all time favs. If what I say doesn't make sense watch the movie right away! It's a good one!

added me, midlands uk, and if were comparing hours per week, i work about 10 with my buisness, 20 odd looking after the kids and doing the house work 10 mins talking to the wife, and the rest sitting on my arse in front of the computer (i suppose that could be classed as work tho)

London, UK. I'm a curious blend of Sicillian/Italian (mother) and my father comes from a coal mining heritage in Northumberland, UK.

I'm still trying to make sense of it. :)
