I need a new 400C laser but there's a lot to choose from out there, and I don't want to end up with a crappy one that may not even work. Can someone suggest one please?
I mean a good one, I'm aware that ebay has quite a few sellers to choose from but I don't want to buy a crappy one.
Completely false. Most of them are refurbished originals, some are new old stock. None are "replicas".
Refurbished originals? Even just the cleaning service will cost too much. It's a hard work to disassemble and clean it inside. Also... Replacement parts? Where will you take them? "New old stock" = stolen replacement DVD-ROM transports from Sony services?
It isn't costly to refurbish, because it's done in China. New old stock = stock left unsold from back when the ps2 was an active platform and sold for pennies and cents when it became obsolete.
It's not really an issue because you get your money back or minus like 50 cents if you're not happy. One was dirty and obviously used, while the seller claimed it was new. So he refunded me and I bought another one from another seller and that one was refurbished or new. Couldn't really tell.
im wantin to order 4 so id like to have a good seller. plus waiting about a month to receive them, and if they are bad return them another weeks, then another month for replacements is too long
If they're bad you can keep them. At least that's what happened when I complained about the used one. Seller gave me my money and told me to keep the product anyways. So you have to know exactly what you're looking for.
