Not looking for a SNES system to JAMMA. Looking for a SNES controller to straight digital switches for use with a Supergun. Something like this: http://dev.telynishiya.info/?p=43
You might have to wire up the buttons directly and bypass the on-board circuitry in the controller. Neo Geo controllers work great for JAMMA boards from what I've heard.
Went that route with a Genesis six button on my last supergun. I'd like to try an adapter for my current one.
Yes! That's what I want. If I can't find one pre-made I will have to look into getting that fabricated. Would anyone want to go in with me to increase quantity/reduce per-unit cost?
I would be interested in one. I'm thinking of making my own supergun one day so it would be really useful then as I wouldn't have to get Neo Geo controllers.
I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but how about SNES to Neo Geo/DB15? http://arcadeforge.net/Supergun-MAK...n-MAK-Strike-Gamecontroller-Adapter::133.html
That would work for what he wants to do. Neo Geo controllers work on JAMMA without needing any mods. He would just need to use a DB-15 male port for the controllers.
I'm really glad I could help I'm looking to buy the MAK Strike Supergun from them and I found that while I was looking around
Ordered. I have a MAS Systems supergun and it's got a 15 pin controller port. I'm not sure if it's the Neo Geo pinout or not, but that's an easy fix if not.
