    Yahoo JPN Auctions.

    No

Maybe some mom and pop shop who will charge you but loads but no official store since DD were sold in low numbers though stores. The only real way to get one in japan was by subscribing to randnet service.

Again your cheapest answer is Yahoo JPN auctions unless you want to pay way above it's worth.

As strange as this sounds, I picked up a 64DD in a shop last week. They had a loose disk game (Mario Artist Communicator) that had a sticker on it saying it had been tested. I chuckled and said to myself, "Yeah, what shop has a 64DD sitting in back for testing purposes."

I picked up a few games, walked to the counter, and there laying behind the manager was a Randnet set with the usual game bundle. What are the odds of that? heh. I bought it, but it's the first one I've ever actually bought in a store...

I picked up the 64DD plus games for 30,000 yen which is about $280. The shop is Manga Souko which is a massive used item store. Because of that they usually don't know prices very well so you can sometimes see a unit like a 64DD for 30,000 yen next to a used, unboxed Mario Golf gold Nintendo disk for 300,000 yen. That's to say that it's not the best shop to really gauge prices in Japan overall.

Also, I know the manager and the items hadn't been placed on the shelf yet. I'm not sure if she gave me a discount or not. When she said the price was 30,000 yen it sounded more like a question than an answer. You could just as easily walk into another shop and see it for 80,000 yen or whatever price they made up for that day.

Yeah, Manga Soko haven't got a clue most of the time. A lot of their stuff is WAYYYYYY over priced and in really shitty condition BUT they also do some major mistakes selling great items for next to nothing ! You just have to visit there a lot and look hard. I go there every other week about 11pm. There's just something about night time game shopping :)

What system? A 64DD? As for the price it could be 30'000 yenthat Japangames paid or more. It's just the luck of the drawer really.

Just over 10'000 yen. hink it was 10'280 or something like that.
