I'm yet to find a place on the web where I can get info on how to make or buy a scart cable for my japanese Super Cassette Vision. I know that the french Yeno console had a scart cable, and that it might work with my Super Cassette Vision. But the Yeno scart cable is also next to impossible to find info about. Anyone who can help me?
Not only out of stock, as Alchy said, but most likely also not SCART in the European sense. Considering the Japanese packaging, that's a Japanese 21-pin RGB connector which has a different pinout compared to "regular" SCART: http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=av:japanese_rgb-21
Yeah, the scart cable at the retrogames.co.uk website is long out of stock... I have already written to them, but they say it is highly unlikely they will ever get one again. I have also been looking at japanese Yahoo auctions, but without any luck. However, I have been searching japanese websites for info, and think I have found the pinout for a japanese Super Cassette Vision 21-pin connector: http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-King/8341/scv.html At the bottom of the website I found this: AV出力端子ピンアサイン(DIN8ピン) 7 6 3 8 1 5 4 2 1:Mystery pin, like +5V control signal, but not the same. 2:Ground 3:Mono audio 4:Sync 5:+5V(Control signal) 6:Red(赤) 7:Green(緑) 8:Blue(青) Case:Ground Anyone who can use this info to build me a cable?
