Hello, I'm new to Dreamcast but not development. I'm a little lost as to which is the definitive SDK to be using under Windows or Mac OS X (either.) To be clear, I'd rather find one that doesn't involve me recompiling the from source. A lot of the links to the various SDK's are broken and so I was wondering if anyone has a definitive link to a simple installer with some kind of IDE integration. I keep seeing the Code Blocks release mentioned in posts circa 2009 (and assume the DC hasn't changed since then so it's still valid), but the download is dead everywhere! I want to throw together some simple 2d games - more technology tests for myself, then look at doing something more interesting. This is all without any official SDK or dev hardware using a standard PAL DC and nullDC for testing on the fly without burning discs.

You probably want to go to DCEmulation and look at KOS. That's THE SDK for DC homebrew. It has both SDL and Allegro, among other libs.
