Where vintage games are restored one cartridge at a time

They should have done this in china. Just ship it there, then back.

oh wow,about time that Gamestop is actually doing what they were advertised to do since they originally opened up as funcoland.Now they can stop blending in with normal convient stores that sell modern crap games.Retro is back baby!

 

Actually there's a bunch of reports of people getting repros, and definitely not legit games. Apparently they aren't checking as hard as they led us to believe.

 

uhh repros are still awesome and very valueable I might add.They technically are the same game just put in a new cart with different label art.Yes id be pissed if I wanted a legit game of Super Mario bros 3,and it ended up being a knockoff.When I think of repros and homebrews I think of games totally made by scratch and changed up with new levels,design,characters,modes etc.What kinds of repros are they getting?

 

If I spent $200 for a copy of Conkers Bad Fur Day and received anything but a legitimate copy of the game I'd be pissed.
Some of the games people are getting don't even work, so there goes the rigorous testing theory.

 

yea this gamestop thing is no good, has said above, there were so many people that got fake games and games that aren't even the game themselves. So many stories its like gamestop lies about everything they do with the retro business

 

Well in that case gamestop should go rot in hell.

 

I was ordering an IKE amiibo from gamestop.com and needed a filler item for free shipping, so I got a copy of Starfox for the SNES. It was only like $13 with the power up rewards card. The game works perfectly and it was clean for the most part, but you can tell they just did a quick spray and wipe because there is crud stuck in the lines on the sides of the cart.
