Where's Charlie? (*erase Charlie and write Retro*)

so i was searching trough the archives, when i came across this:

Does anyone know where's Retro? I liked it, and his pressence is missing.

that's a good idea you know? If a modero could change the name of the thread to fit it's new purpose, that would be great, like ''were's charlie (*erase and put a lost member name here*)'' or something, i liked the were's charlie idea. :smt042

edit: it would be great to post his avatar, just like we put the photo of a missing person on milk boxes.

 

...He did live 'just' up the road from me, I guess he's still local and busy.

 

How high does there post count have to be before we care they are missing? I know I sound mean, but there are a lot of posters that have like 10 posts and left forever.

 

Well, that's the point. It's not surprising if someone who seldom posts stops doing so for a huge while. Plus, the likelihood of his posts having been read or replied to by other members is quite lower as well - so many won't notice.
This fellow, however, had interacted with many members frequently, so his being away is easier to notice.
He had been away for a while last time he posted, though. I'll say he's very busy, though I don't really know him (he did help me find the problem with my Snes, though - he's a cool fellow).

 

Maybe he's just busy with life. I'm sure he'll be back sooner or later.

Yeah, its been a while, sorry! Indeed I have been busy - trying to find a job, trying to scrape together enough money to live in the meantime, battling against my illness worsening lately... quite a lot on my plate! heh. If I'm online lately, I'll often be doing a website for someone... had quite a few to sort!!

I was one of the top 10 posters for quite a while since the vBulletin move... I'm surprised to see I'm still top 15!! Damn, I came on here too much!!!

I'll endeavour to keep looking in, anyway. Still, one of the worst things for me..... not having a job, not having any money, seeing lots of rare cool things, and not being able to afford them!! And there were a LOT of good things all at once at one point - depressing or what?!? Many once in a lifetime chances, too!!

Oldengineer, yeah I'm still local... although I dunno where exactly you are! Somewhere within a 20 min drive, I believe! heh. BTW, have you been in Play-Away?

As I said, nice to feel wanted, and to be asked after. Perhaps the suggestion of a "where are they?" thread is a good idea?

Cahaz, I suffer from M.E., or as it is often known (technically slightly different things, but for all intents and purposes the same), CFS. Makes me tired a lot (sure, I know we all are!), can affect memory, co-ordination, balance, muscle and joint pains, memory, makes me tired a lot.... haha j/k, my memory isn't THAT bad!!
