I have a DTL-H300002 with non-working memory card ports. Tried removing and reseating the cable; pads still work but cards don't. What model PS2 do I need to scavenge the ports from to get it going again? Looks a bit like a V4 internally but I'm not 100% sure! Cheers Stone
Actually, is it a DTL-H30002 S? If so, the S = does not work with memory cards, I had a similiar model, same problem (even after replacing the entire port). Hopefully someone else has better news for you, but I honestly wouldnt be too optimistic!
Try a PSone memory card. They should defo work. If they don't work, try scavenging some known working ones from a SCPH-30003r or any other SCPH-3000x console. So PSone should work, even if PS2 don't. Thing is I've had DTL-H10000s consoles that work with memo cards...(I think.....). Why should a 30002s not work? What's the point in that?
