Shortly I'll recieve an Set 5.42 but I was wondering which card do I need in my PC (pci) for the SCSI connection? Will everycard work? Or do I need a specific one? Thanks in advance!
Other cards might work (I've never tried anything other than Adaptec). It's best to go with the Adaptec 2940U, but here are other supported Adaptec SCSI controllers: 1542, 1742, 2940, 2940U, 2940UW (you'll need a 68-pin to 50-pin adapter for this one), or 3940.
