Want o go and buy one of them today. I have never played RE4, i have just downloaded it for the PS2 and i`ve got Trauma Centre on the DS which i`m just starting to play. By the sounds of things i should just get Eledees/Elebits instead!

    Any thoughts?

Mario Strikers is good if you like sports games. Its more fun with friends though. Keep in mind you will need Nunchuks for all players though.

Never played RE4 on Wii but its GREAT on GC ^^

Trauma Center is ok if you like skill-based puzzles games. RE4 is a modern definition of a hardcore game - not in difficulty, but in the feel and setup. Both are classics in their own way though so it's like comparing oranges and penises.

heres a few of my recommendations

    warioware
    eldees
    merury meltdown
    pangya golf
    wiisports
    excite truck
the bigs (baseball but great multiplayer)
    re4
    tony hawks
prince of persia (dodgy controls, but once you get used to it, good to play)

dont bother with tramua centre if you have it on the ds already, only a few bonus levels on it really

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Only got the system on the 1st so this would be my first game outside of wii play and sports. I only have one nunchuk right now, probably get one in the next couple of days.

I`ve never been a massive sports fan so Strikers isnt for me really. Looks fun but i`ll let a friend by that one.

I do really enjoy puzzle games and Trauma centre really does have an interesting premise, but i reckon i`ll play the DS version a little more thoroughly first.

I had a period where i was off games about 2years ago and i missed out on a lot of big games during that time. RE4 was one of them. I dont know whether my i would enjoy playing it on the wii now more than the PS2(but as i said i have just downloaded it.

My mate is gonna lend me red steel and i`m not a massive golf fan. Eledees looks a lot of fun, its mad pre owned Wii games like there DS counterparts really don`t go down in price much.

red steel looks good but plays like a steaming sack of doggy backpassageness

if you want a good F.P.S. try farcry, looks good, and imho one of the better to control using the nunchuck and wiimote

as for games, try choicesuk.com decent prices for new releases, as your right, pre-owned in the shops is only about £2-£5 cheaper than new

another underlooked puzzle game is koropia? its like a marble maze game, very good, and very frustrating although limited replay value, but on the plus side you can pick it up for around £15 preowned

i meant to say wario ware but he said he`d lend me red steel too lol, thanks for the advice, had heard it was the wack attack! Farcry does look pretty good, i`m sure i might enjoy the visuals on the pc or 360 better though, but i`m interested in playing with the nunchuk & remote. Koropia or whatever looks pretty interesting, i have a local car boot seller who sells new wii games for £20 so i`ll have to see what he has. cheers, for the advice.

no problem, as for the graphics on farcry, you wont be dissapointed, it easially rivals its xbox (not 360) counterpart, 480p looks pretty damned good on it!

Isn't Second Opinion for the Wii a remake of the DS version? If you've already got it for the DS, I'd go for Resident Evil all the way!

I would get RE4 if I were you. I have it myself and it is the best resident evil game I have ever played. The controls are so solid, playing the game is like second nature. I would advise not to get Elebits, however. I had it for a little while myslef and I thought that it was absolutly horrendous.

Farcry and Redsteel for the Wii are banned. ;D SHIT port and SHIT launch game.

Seriously, pick up RE4 Wii if you want the definitive version with improved controls (and you can even choose standard joypad controls as well) --- with all the PS2 extras while retaining (at least!) the Gamecube version's graphical and audio fidelity.

Trauma Center: SE... get it on the cheap. Then again, I don't know === never played it and your gameplay may differ from what I expect. I'm stuck in that "handheld port" state of mind regarding it. I have heard that it's quite good, so dig it if you will.

Trauma Center: SO, apart from a few additional cases and improved graphics is the same game as Trauma Center for DS. So if you've already played through (or are playing through) the DS version, it's not much worth it unless you love it that much.

Why hasn't anyone suggest Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess yet? I mean - it's Zelda! Amazing game, truly it is.

If you've never played RE4, I'd pick that up for sure - the Wii version, in my opinion, is the definitive version - the controls, along with the other upgrades it got over the GC release make it a pleasure to play. Really great storytelling and heart pounding action!

Resident Evil 4. Especially if you didn't own it already for GC/PS2.

what are the controls like on resident evil 4, i played Red Steel for all of ten mins before i gave up on the controls. I have never felt anything so unnatural in my life, thing is i`m kind of thinking i`m gonna have to get used to the madness if i want to ever play a fps or the like on the Wii

well you in luck, the controls on RE4 are spot on, it feels like second nature playing that game once you been playing for 5 mins or so, and if you really feel uncomforableusing the wiimote and nunchuck you can still revert back to the old control system and use either a gamecube pad of the wii classic controller

The Resident Evil 4 controls shit on the Red Steel controls. In a good way.

The Wii version just improves on amazing controls that were already available on the Gamecube. Like I said, It's a must buy for someone who has never played RE4 yet/
