Has a sidecar and a 100GB (I think?) harddrive, power brick, controller, cables. No box. Has some audio implementation software on it.

Doesn't look like any XNA I've seen. Its probably a standard ole test kit. XS will probably be here shortly to give you a better idea on prices, but you'll probably have to give us more info (like which motherboard it is.)

Its a test kit which probably has a 9000's recovery flashed to it that uses the XNA logo which is the cause of his confusion.

A picture of the Back of the unit with the DATE of MFR would be most useful, if there any HDMI port available?

    Hey guys,

Sorry for the delay. I'll take the requested pictures tonight after work.

In the meantime, here's why I think it's a XNA:

The guy I'm looking to maybe sell this for works in game development. He received it from Microsoft, used it a little bit, and put it in storage. Definitely no recoveries or whatnot.

I blacked out the username since it's a (unique) person's name. It has a few audio implementation tools on it…haven't seen that before.

The recoveries around that time all said XNA due to Microsoft wanting more promotion for their XNA program.
Nice console, curious if someone may know or you know what the daexodus file is? Doesn't seem like an audio tool with three separate executable's and some saying release. So I am just curious ;)

It's an early version of Dragon Age II.

Might make a little something if you sell it to the right person who enjoys that game. Not sure on how popular it was, though I know it was from the same company who created mass effect.

When you say theres "Audio Implimentation" software on it, is it just AudioConsole or is there more?

    Ah, well that's very cool.
Did a quick search and apparently the name was changed and they never used "Exodus". So either that was just what they internally called builds for the game or this is a very early version.
Sorry don't want to get off topic but builds of games are just fun and fascinating to me.

I believe it's just AudioConsole…I'll take a second look through it this evening.

Do you have an idea of a more specific amount?

    Thanks all, appreciate the help.

Dont have a clue without knowing the motherboard or anything mate, need pics of the back where it says mfr date etc.

I meant a little extra on top, since the build isnt public. But Im not even sure if theres demand for any DA stuff.

Deffo a Jasper, Id say around £250, maybe £300. Dollar wise, probably $400-$450, not 100% though. Not sure if it being a test kit knocks it down now there are easy work arounds.

XboxSurgeon should be able to swoop in soon with a definite current market price for it.

$400 or so. Possibly more for a collector interested in the beta build on it.

I think there would be interest in it (the Dragon Age content... although does "-release" mean it's final build?). I'd probably be interested, although it's not something I could do right now.

However, let's not make this into a thin veil for a sale... you won't be able to sell this here, unfortunately.

    1. You can't use a price check to sell something.
    2. You haven't been a member long enough.
    3. You haven't made enough posts yet.
    4. You won't be able to sell it anyway - third party sales aren't allowed.

You're welcome to get an idea of market value with that in mind, though. Apart from that, if you wanted to discuss the contents in a separate thread, I don't see anything wrong with that. :)
