Hi I have a xbox and want to put a white backlite on it. Any ideas about where i can find some instrutions for it.

hi i mean a lcd display to put on the front of the xbox(not 360). They are a blue colour from Crystalfontz. Any instructions please on how to fit it to my xbox. thanks gravecad.
Well, first of all you'll need a modchip that supports connecting a LCD. SmartXX, Xecuter 3, Xenium and a special version of Aladdin XT supports LCD. If you don't have one already, you must try to find someone who will sell one to you as they are no longer in production. XBlast Lite modchip is this summer and will support LCD if you're willing to wait. Second is the LCD itself. Most HD44780(the type you need) LCD are too big to fit on top of controller ports 3&4(unless you take a 2rows by 16 characters LCD which is quite small). You'll need to find a LCD which has a max overlay size of approx 140x40mm if you want to place it there. If you have these 2 items, you'll just have to whip out the dremel and start cutting the front panel to fit the LCD in there.
