I think he means the Tectoy versions of the Genesis and Master System, and they are licensed (although still somewhat dodgy, I'm pretty sure they contain ROMs which Sega doesn't own the rights to).
I also have an obsession with white electronics, and I have no idea why, I think it's because everything sold in the US is always black or silver. I have a white MD portable, a white MD shelf system, etc... I've always wanted to find a white cell phone, like the cool PHS jobbies the Japanese get, but I've never found one.
The "white" TecToy MegaDrive 3 is actually silver-coloured. There's also both models of the SG1000 to add to the list.
This is the Tectoy one: Looks white from the picture but could well be silver. According to this page it is a white/grey colour. That Genesis 3 you've got a picture of is interesting, though. I only remember seeing that shell in black. EDIT: here's another image of the Tectoy Megadrive 3: (source)
AFAIK, all TecToy stuff was branded MegaDrive rather than Genesis. Only the US & Canada got Genesis. Not seen that white Genny 3 nefore - looks pretty good. Where's the pic from?
There is also the GP32 and lets not forget the Mr. Game & Watch with Zelda. GP32: http://www.gbax.com/gp32review.html
Hey dont forget the TeleGames Dina a Colecovision Clone unit that plays both Colecovision and Sega SG-1000 carts
Rare Nolan Bushnell Signature Series Atari 7800 Console Hey. Just found this auction via kotaku. The price is a little hefty but woah.... I never thought a 7800 could be this sexy.. Here's a picture, of course there's much more in the auction.
Toe, that is one BEAUTIFUL 7800. The white buttons, the curves near them... the power led... Man, I'm so happy to see that and there's no Lynx in my pocket! That's the sexiest image I've seen in months. Thanks for sharing!
