    Hi all,

Picked up a Vectrex console over the weekend that is fully working but has a white dot in the center of the screen when it is turned on.

Any ideas on what could fix this ?

    Thanks in advance

Put a small piece of duct tape over it so you don't see it. Duct tape fixes everything.

Seriously though. That looks like the cathode ray might not get turned off when it should. I suggest having someone with CRT repair skills take a look at it, if you know someone like that.

Thanks for the very technical advise ;)

I actually received this today as my brother picked it up and shipped it to me. After a quick play around it turns out that the contrast was wacked all the way up (the guy had obviously missed it as it's not the most obvious knob.) A quick adjustment and we have a fully working Vectrex in complete and amazing condition for £56.27 :D
