Hey. I'm having a problem with my Genesis AV output. Every time the screen is dark or there are dark colors on the screen, faint white lines appear. This only happens on my TV. Coax looks fine but for some reason there's a problem with the Composite. I know it's not the AV cables since I tried 2 different pairs on other consoles. It seems my TV hates the Genesis. It almost looks like ghosting so there is no way my camera will pick it up. What can I do?

Hmm surprising enabling a feature called Notch on my TV had gotten rid of it for the most part. I put the sharpness all the way up and it seems to have fixed most of it.

It's probably your TV. My TV has a really bad S-Video image yet if you plug a machine in to the TV Via S-Video then take the image from the out put on the back of the TV and display it on another monitor it looks fantastic. So something from the input to displaying it on the screen is not right. Your TV could have the same problem.

Well I mean it's just my Genesis. All my other consoles are fine. Maybe it's something to do with the signal strength.

could be. I remember back in the 90's that my big Toshiba would pull the image about 3 cm to the left when using a Saturn but not on anything else. Very odd. Luckily the TV had a vertical adjustment button.

Try another genesis system or another system with av connection in same tv, if it only happens with your genesis so you have a faulty genesis

It happens only with my TV. I fixed it anyway. I turned off some weird setting called "notch".
