Someone brought me a box of console stuff he had found and asked if I'd give him $20 for it. There was some old joysticks and junk, but there was also a complete silver gamecube. Now, I've got more of the things than I need as it is, but this one caught my eye, so I agreed. I think you can see why. But now I wonder, who are these people? Inside the Gamecube is a copy of NBA Street V3, which was developed up here at EA Canada. I live about an hour away, and as such see dev hardware and other related items from them all the time. Could these be the developers' signatures?
I just wiki'd NFG and it suggested the band New Found Glory. I think that might be it, as the band members are Jordan Pundik, Chad Gilbert, Steve Klein, Ian Grushka and Cyrus Bolooki. But why would you have a band sign your gamecube? Edit: Well, no idea why you'd want to have a gamecube signed by New Found Glory, but I looked on google image search for other things they've signed and sure enough, the signatures match. Anyone want to buy a gamecube that's been signed by New Found Glory?
I guess those signature from people completely unrelated to gaming actually only lower the value of that GC
They were credited for being on the soundtracks for both BMX XXX and Madden 2005.....both of which appeared on the GC....... They also appeared on MTV2's Video Mods, which fused music and video game games/graphics/characters/ into music videos. They performed "All Downhill From Here".
PM me with details on buying, please. I collect all things gamecube related and cheap, so I might be interested.
''Bro! The NFG are signing downtown'' ''FUCK, I DOWNLOADED THEIR ALBUMS'' ''Just grab the fuckin' gamecube!''
That's a pretty unique item you have there, you would get more money for it on music collectables sites. You could email the band and ask them if they have ever signed a silver gc, im sure it's the only one they have signed.
1.Find a NFG forum 2. Go on ''asking'' question sabout it to drum up interest 3.Find a buyer/start a eBay auction 4.????? 5.PROFIT!!!!
New Found Glory suck ass, still, I'm sure you could get a pretty penny for the gamecube, just need to find the right market.
