How was my post in breach of forum policy and not the whole thread?

Hah, I can't fully remember. I was responding to ddp72984's request for "proto-cart" builders. This is surely against the board's rules but I offered to do the job. I'm mad that my post was edited (erased) without a note or anything, when the whole conceivable topic was against the rules, AFAIK my post wasn't. Only my post was replaced with an impersonal "This post does not.." message. There should be policy for mods to follow on the grounds of erasing/editing posts and locking threads. There is no way to hold anyone accountable as it stands. I don't have any poster rights? :p If tonight I become a mod will this change anything? 8 mods is practically half the active users here... there will be cases when people have opposing views, even moderators hold childish biases against certain topics such as the one mentioned and will act childishly in their favor. Piracy is too touchy of a subject for this board. The truth is that this board was formed on the grounds of piracy and obscure objects including sold-but-pirate games and consoles, 3rd-party products and illegal development units/kits (which probably nobody here has the rights to own...)

According to SCEA, I don't own the rights to a PS2 TEST unit :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the reason to keep this forum clean of emu talk is to keep out the emu scene. . .it would invite too many kiddies that would ask questions like "Where do I get the Radical Dreamers English ROM?" There are other boards best suited for said activities. . .

Not to say, I do enjoy seeing the ocassional black-market backup tool now and again and talked about. . .I'm torn. . .so, I'll go with the hardware aspect of piracy is informative and welcomed with me, but talking about the latest in the emulation scene isn't cool.

I was the one who edited your post.

I did it because you were offering to build carts for ddp72984 to play his ROM's in return for payment. This is in breach of the rules of the board, im sorry that I didnt make the edit more personal and take "credit" for it.

If you think I have been unfair, by all means speak to ASSEMbler.
