Damn. That must weigh a bit. Good work out for the arms carrying that thing around.

ugly as sin I must say - for all that hard work, the creator could have gone for something less gawdy. still, great work. but overall - gah!

Sony must have opened the doors to all sorts of previously thought non portable systems to portability with their screen!

Seems like every one of those 'portable' console uses one of those!

all that effort and it ended up being monster-green? Black at least would have been better :S Nice effort nevertheless, but with the XBOX inside I'm not sure how long that battery will last:p

Yeah, and all you're going to need is a portable nuclear power plant to make it work

Now that would be a cool modification. But i think it would be easier to use a PSOne or PSTwo since they have smaller boards.

Interesting concept, but I don't think that guy could design a good looking functional portable to save his life. I'm sure we've all looked at his other creations and honestly I'm just not impressed.

The portable is limited by the motheboard size. I think he did a good job given the
system was limited to a giant square...

The vacuum plastic front is nice, but the layout...

You'd have to heatpipe the board, then replace the big caps with smalled ones,
and then you could get it maybe an inch tall.

but it's still going to be a giant rectangle.

If I had any motivation to do it, a laptop shell with a 15 inch screen would have been nice. I don't think I've touched my xbox since mechwarrior 2.

I understand its need to be large, as there is only so much you can do with the internal hardware. I just don't like his design work. The portable Xbox is probably the best so far. Look at the poor DC. It's just a damned rounded rectangle.

Yeah, that thing is looking pretty ugly. His choice of radioactive puke green doesn't do much for me.
