    Check out the video:

Well it will be cooled via heatpipe, not true water cooling that involves high speed fans, pump, and a radiator. Still pretty interesting. The thing sure is smaller than the current xbox. Thing looks like it will kick Sony's ass.

Yep, I have a water cooled Dreamcast. It even has a metal fan. The later ones use a cheap plastic fan.

madhatter256, thanks for the link. I wanted a version I could play from the Harddrive :)

Heatsink + watercooling solution, since the first hardware generated way too much heat. Later on they switched to conventional fan cooling.

Water cooling has little advantage to us, since it'll still have fans inside :-(

anyone know how much noise the xbox360 generates or why they choose the heat pipe over a conventional heat sink. was it space constraints or heat...or both?

id also like to know how hot the thing runs, or how long its projected lifespan is.

it seems like recent consoles have been designed to fail in a relative short time frame...i can just imagine ploping down hundreds in cash only to have my new xbox fry itself in a matter of months.
