I was looking for something on eBay tonight when I saw this:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/Xbox-360-psp-xbox-ps2-wholesale-bonus-TESTED-BY-ME_W0QQitemZ160246621082QQihZ006QQcategoryZ139971QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

This is absolutely pathetic, in every way imaginable. He expects people to believe that he has exclusive access to a phone-number that will allow you to buy games directly from a wholesaler - as if the wholesaler wouldn't notice that lots of random people from eBay are getting all of their games. I decided to look at his comments out of morbid curiosity. I can only conclude that he is phishing since he has several positive comments on that item.

Perhaps the most ridiculous thing about this scam is that at least one person seems to have fallen for it. One comment says "discription is miss leading." Aha. That must mean that he actually DOES send you the number of a wholesaler... except that it doesn't do much good because the only response you'll get on the other end of line is, "Why are you calling us? You have to be a game retailer to buy games from a wholesaler, dumbass!" $20 for a text file with some numbers in it! Wow, what a great deal!

I find it rather amusing that he gives you this via a "digital Delivary" service. I guess he's hoping that the person reading it will think that since he's giving it to you via a link that it must be a large file and therefore very valuable. Yeah, there's no way your e-mail service has enough bandwidth to fit all 7 digits! :p It boggles the mind to think that people can actually be that stupid.

French feedback "Could have better a description of l' sold object!!!!"

    Can safely say it's rubbish.
Probably has a text file with a number for an EB Games Warehouse.

NSK you need to fix your sig. Thats way to big and I dont think you are allowed to use the word "fag" in it. Im not a mod but im sure if Paulo or someone sees that they will ask you to change/fix it.

As for the wholesale thing thats one of those dumb ideas that a few people are going to fall for. Look at it this way if he gets 5 morons to buy his crap then hes made like 100$!!!!!!!! Totally not worth it for the effort he has enlisted into it but morons work well with other morons.

NSK is just a spambot (reported), so just ignore it until the posts are removed.

Most of the "wholesalers" on ebay and elsewhere originate from those "learn how to make money on ebay" scams you see on TV. Second order scammers if you will... Never buy information on how to buy something from anyone, ever.
