Why do PCBs smell like dog food when I put DeoxIT contact cleaner on the contacts?

    Is there a chemical mixing with the DeoxIT to release that smell? I also recall my paintballs for my paintball gun having the same smell. Does anyone know what the name of the chemical is?

    Man that thread title made me lol.
    And just 10 min ago I caught my cat making its paws on my Aero Fighter Arcade PCB, which is equally weird. I was horrified and chased it, fortunately no damage was done.
