Like I said, I got my Jasper model in 2009 - which is an Arcade unit, and I use the 20GB hard drive from my previous Premium system - and it's been working all this time with no issues. It's also considerably quieter - the noisiness of the older machine really bothered me. The Jasper model is still pretty loud, but not as bad as my previous system.
no, because mine is the Halo 3 Xbox. and it took 2 weeks. edit: just checked my email...8/20/09 i filed my warranty order. give some time to recieve the box, then i took my time packing it up. 9/17/09 at 12:38AM i recieve Xbox Repair - Console Received 9/17/09 at 7:26AM I recieve Xbox Repair - Repair Completed 9/17/09 AT 9:26am i recieve Xbox console repair with a UPS tracking number. All in all - less than a month for a within warranty Limited Edition Halo 3 Xbox 360 to get repaired and returned - and that was again with me being without a car so I couldn't ship my console out the moment it died.
Thats really crappy. Standard Warranty in the UK is 1 year for pretty much anything. Some offer 2 years. 90 days is a joke
90 days is what you get for cheap chinese cables (like USB/SATA/audio/electric etc.) (1/450-600 of X360 price). So... in US they knew already about its quality ?
IIRC it was 90 - I could be wrong. Al that really matters is it was extended to 3 years and prior to the extension if you had it repaired for red ring errors you would be refunded.
i only ever bought two 360s one for myself a 120gb elite, and one for my brother again a 120gb elite, both still going strong although the one for my brother was a replacement for his old original 360 that rrod'd
uh.. why will someone bother about how many random stuff random people buy? Don't forget about all the Xbox special editions!!
