I was always really interested in this game. It seems to be a basic tech demo. But, still its something I'd really love to play, as back in the day Yoshi Story was one of my favorite games. Mushroom Kingdom says http://themushroomkingdom.net/techdemos.shtml "Nintendo supplied "Yoshi Demo" with each GBA development kit as they started to dole them out shortly after it was first shown in April 2000." If this is true why no dump it seems there were quite a few copies made... Anyone one on here got a copy?
Hmmmm, this is actually the first time I have heard of it... the way its written hints at a handful of copies of this tech demo existing. Maybe it just hasnt landed in the right hands yet...
Really ... I'd really liek to see it if it has been... Suprised I never found the rom. Thanks alot Haruglory if you can find it.
It was dumped way back in 2001. Dump number "xx17 - Yoshi's Story [Demo] (U)" I don't have it anymore unfortunately but I'm sure it's out there somewhere. It was used a lot back in the early days of GBA Emulation - it was the starting point for most emulators, and they would post videos of their new GBA emulator running Yoshi's Story.
Here it is : http://kickme.proxyz.net/?http://www.geocities.jp/iPgliG85/xx17.zip Thanks a lot handofg0d for giving me the dump name, much helpful lol .
Is that rom really OK to distribute? It didnt have to be dumped, as far as I remember the source came with the dev kit CD's...probably also a pre-compiled version too... Shiggsy
Sorry to bump a really old thread, but this not available for download anywhere now. I've searched for a day and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Can someone reupload? Thanks
For me it just says '申し訳ありませんが、このページは現在利用できなくなっています。しばらくたってからもう一度お試しください。 ご不明な点があれば、ヘルプをご覧のうえ、お問い合わせください。' I don't speak Japanese. Is that an over bandwidth message or somthing?
If you use google translate you'll get this. "Sorry, this page is currently unavailable. Please try again later. If you have any questions, see the Help Ue, please contact us."
This source code you speak of, and a GBA SDK or something, anybody got/allowed to post a link? If not, is a PM fine?
